Blond oranges

Sicilian blond oranges and citrus fruits in general are very renowned for the presence of Vitamin C: an important aid for our body for the prevention of seasonal diseases, such as flu and colds.

Blood oranges

Purifying and remineralizing, blood orange helps the liver to dispose of fats; magnesium strengthens the nervous system and potassium has a diuretic effect. Vitamin A makes it precious for the skin, while its richness in vitamin C makes it a supplement against free radicals, diseases and viruses.

Mandarins

Mandarin is a citrus fruit typically grown in our beloved territory. Its rounded shape is characterized by a very thin peel that is easy to remove, light orange in color and very fragrant. Its pulp made up of many small segments is very juicy, sweet and light orange in color. This sweet and juicy mandarin is one of the flagship products of Sicily Citrus.

Lemons

The properties and benefits of Lemon are innumerable, as they contain numerous active ingredients with a therapeutic effect. It slows down skin aging, is a powerful antibacterial, regulates the intestine, fights cellulite, has a detoxifying action for the body, increases the immune system, promotes iron absorption, regulates appetite and sense of satiety. The decoction of lemon peel and bay leaves is particularly used, as a powerful digestive that counteracts the sense of nausea and indigestion.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

The range of olive varieties from which extra virgin olive oil is obtained in Sicily is wide: mainly Cerasuola, Moresca, Nocellara Etnea and Nocellara del Belice as well as Tonda Iblea. The oils obtained from them are characterized by a pronounced fruity, combined with fresh aromas from sour to spicy. This makes them ideal for salads, vegetable and mushroom dishes, for marinating fish and for dressing soups and meat dishes.

Honey

Orange Blossom Honey is one of the most popular and used monofloral table honeys, with a fruity flavor and floral scent reminiscent of Sicilian citrus flowers. A vitamin product, calming in cases of insomnia, nervousness and migraine. Produced in hives that reside in pristine areas. Sicilian orange blossom nectar honey is one of the most popular unifloral honeys for its many properties: rich in vitamins and antioxidants, naturally energizing, it also has a relaxing effect on the muscular system and the nervous system. It is a honey with an amber color and an intense aroma that recalls the flowers from which it comes and stands out for its characteristic fruity aroma with a pleasant and delicate acid note, typical of Sicilian citrus groves. At the table, orange honey presents a great versatility of combinations, it goes well with sweet or savory dishes, ideal as an accompaniment to fresh or slightly aged soft cheeses. It is also used instead of sugar both to sweeten drinks and in the preparation of desserts to which it gives a pleasant scent.
